Colossians Part 1

Colossians

In the first several verses of Colossians, we get a glimpse of Paul's prayer for the believers in Colossae. His prayer is split into two sections, namely, celebration and petition. In this first section, Paul thanks God for the evidence that the Gospel has taken root in Colossae. What is the evidence that these are, in fact, Real Followers of Jesus? In this sermon, you will three signs of true salvation and you will be encouraged to share the Gospel with lost and broken people.

From Series: "Colossians"

In this epistle, the Apostle Paul writes to the believers in Colossae to combat false teachings that are coming against the church. In his counterargument, he reminds the Colossians of the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus. As we read this compelling letter, we are reminded that Jesus is the Lord of the cosmos. The big question is, "Is He Lord of your life?".
